I choose MBP since it offers mobility and I already have an iMac (old G3 266 Mhz) at home which is still usable and loaded with every apps that I use. Same goes with the MBP, loaded with apps that I find necessary as both a teacher and a learner in the art of the web. For more bang for your money though, can't beat the iMac. I might go for a Mac Mini myself, next year. It all depends on what you’re gonna use it for.
